Indie Author Interviews

2020 has been a very testing time for humankind, as we try to come to terms with a 'new normal' that could be with us for quite some time to come. Whilst furloughed from my Day Job, I did an awful lot of reading (not so much writing, it was difficult to focus), especially books by Indie authors like myself.

It's perhaps harder then ever to find readers when you are an independent author with little or no budget for marketing, and even less time. Despite it's many pitfalls (which I won't get into here, but let's just say we all know what they are...) I still think Twitter is a great platform for finding new authors to read, if you are prepared to click a lot of links to Indie Author websites. Hashtags like #IAmWriting #WritingCommunity #WritersLIft often reveal hidden gems, or gems-in-the-making.

So I decided to start a new blog page, on which I hope to interview promising Indie Authors. I'll ask them about their inspiration, aspiration, motivation and tons of other things that we love to know about our fellow creatives. Yes, I know, 'promising' is such a subjective term, isn't it? What can I say... I've chatted to and got to know a number of fellow indies since I began writing properly (not so many years ago) and have made some very good friends. So I hope you'll check back from time to time to see who I've been chatting to, and what they're writing.

See you later!
